In Australia, there are 3 main registering organisations. These are Australia Cat Federation Inc., Australian National Cats Inc. and Co-ordinating Cat Council of Australia. 

These bodies regulate the breed standards by which their members are to breed their chosen breed(s) too. There are some differences within the standards, however, to assist you learn the basics about the breeds recognised within Australia we have created the below Breed Profiles for you to use as a basic guide.
