Bellou British Shorthairs is a boutique purebred British Shorthair cattery in East Gippsland breeding quality and well tempered cats in a large variety of colours for pet and show homes.

We pride ourselves in producing not only quality beautiful British Shorthairs that fit the breed standard, but are also friendly, well-adjusted and socialised kittens that love attention and are desensitized to young children and small dogs.

Our gorgeous cats boast a diverse range of bloodlines from all of the world including Germany, France and New Zealand, along with a plethora of Australian lines.

We currently breed a large variety of colours including Blue and Black, Chocolate and Lilac, Cinnamon and Fawn, Red and Cream, and their Bicolour, Van and Tortoiseshell varieties. Many of our cats also have potential to produce Odd-Eyes, Blue Eyes, and Longhairs.
